First had my MOT done here as its within walking distance, which was quick, easy and reasonably priced, however on one cold morning when my car started playing up they managed to stick around to let me drop it off even though they were due to close (Id been asleep after a night shift) and the next day even after testing the problem had disappeared... know that dealers charge just for plugging the computer in, let alone the time spent actually working on checking it over I was expecting a reasonable bill. I was very pleased when they told me there'd be no charge as the fault appears to have rectified itself, and I'll happily bring my car back in the future.

The only garage in Coventry that I trust. I have been using this garage for quite a few years, both for MOTs and faults. Each time I have found them to be very honest and professional. I am not someone with a great deal of money and have consistently been taking my old banger of a vehicle for repairs. Each time I expect it to be greatly expensive, or advised to scrap it. Neither is the case. Thank you gents for your efforts, it is truly appreciated.

I went in because my car was kangarooing and the engine warning light came on, the garage used a machine which diagnosed a problem with the throttle and gearbox. The man who did this said it was just an electrical fault, turned the light off and sent me on my way even though I said it was not driving correctly. 2 days later the light came back on, I went back to the garage and they said there was nothing wrong with the gearbox and throttle, and again, turned the engine warning light off and said it could be anything but as long as it drives, the diagnostic machine is wrong! the man was very dismissive, could not care less and appeared very inexperienced. I drove off, car threatening to break down and went to another garage. The new garage was shocked at the way Allesley garage handled the problem and they found that my gearbox had burned out all of its oil and the throttle had a number of issues which they corrected immediately. Please read the other review and mine and think carefully before going to Allesley garage. They have terrible customer service, ignore faults if they cant see them straight away and can leave a driver in danger of breaking down and spending more money on simple faults that they cannot be bothered to work on.

This garage failed my car on a non existent fault IE split steering/molding joint, but on examination the part was good, it just had some split line flash from the molding process, Three years later I let them have a second chance however, this time they failed my car again stating it needed a new brake caliper, as the piston has seized, I'm no mechanic but I managed to release the piston straight away (by using the correct wind back tool), Further to this when they reassembled my brakes, they left out one of the return springs. Do not use if you value your life or wallet.
