A fine example of a grade 1 listed medieval church, decommissioned in the early 1970’s, a lovely stained glass Memorial window to the 1st world war plus many other monuments, now an Antiques & collectables centre which compliments the interior and does not cover up the buildings past, visitors most welcome.
Great antiques, nice church and bell ringing throughout Piers Corbyns disgusting gathering was hilarious.
This, reportedly unused, church decided to rings its bell continuosly as a peaceful and respectful gathering of people who have misgivings over the covid medical interventions becoming more and more pervasive were attempting to listen to an ex Norwich City councillor disseminate some useful information. This cowardly attempt to undermine free speech in this country is beneath the level of behaviour that we are entitled to. This was on Saturday 22nd January 2022 at 1145. I don't know if this was a conscious decision on the church's part or if they were coerced to do it. Either way it was either an ignorant or spineless act which was futile, as the police's earlier attempts to disable the speaker's megaphone was unsuccessful.
Great selection of stuff and things!
