Manual Transmission and Differential Specialists.

Story

We undertake the remanufacture and repair of manual transmissions and differentials. We are BMW and Jaguar specialists. We can and will, however, work on units from all makes of vehicle.

All Gears started in 2002 and has developed considerably since then. Throughout we have remained a small, family-run business and take pride in our work. We aim to help and accommodate all customers, whatever their needs.

We are located in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, where we have operated from since 2003.

The very worst. Many years ago they took on a job of rebuilding a fucntioning but tired Ford gearbox of mine. They returned it unserviceable. I spoke to them and they agreed to look at it again so, at considerable expense, I sent it back to them, and they did not even have the respect to unwrap it, returning it to me as 'not my problem'. I stripped the gearbox and found an interlock/lockout pin missing. Calling the owner up and all communications since are stuff of nightmare - he views this story as some sort of unproven allegation, acting like he's outwitting me as I can't 'prove' his service is awful it is. No interest in even believing they'd made a mistake or apologising. Delighted to tell me I had no recourse to refund as they'd been subcontracted my an intermediary company. As a final insult, the owner keeps marking my review as 'spam' to get it removed by google - must be too ashamed to own his mistakes. If you are considering sending them work, please don't, particularly if you're abroad. I'm sure they're good when they get it right, but everyone makes mistakes, and they will make you regret it when they do.Service: Transmission
Highly competent and relentless in the quality of their builds. Had the pleasure of dealing with Neil and Paige over the years rebuilding my road and race Getrag gearboxes and differentials. Just built another for me and has another ready to do. May 2019, now completed yet another gearbox for me. Usual high quality and finish too good to fit under a car! Well done Neil/Paige....again!
Overseas buyer here. Quick communication and great after sales services. Surprised to have urgent response near midnight UK time. Solves problems and gets things running. Honest shop. Gearbox received in promised time frame. Recommended.

Brilliant, fast service by All Gears for my Fiesta ST180 Quaife LSD. The part required shimming, which was only realised after the bearings had been installed, which I can imagine made the job a hell of a lot harder but it didn't stop the job from being done swiftly, well, and at a brilliant pricepoint. Would highly recommend, top bloke too! Called on the Monday, dropped off on the Wednesday night, out the door by the end of Thursday morning. 5*

Worst experience I have ever had. Not only did they over charge me but the repairs only lasted 3 months and then I was told it was out of warranty. I would never use this place again.
