Group of 7 - quite a few items not available off the menu which a few of us wanted. Waiter cleared plates of 6 of us before the 7th had finished. Waiting was fine but the food came and it was awful. Very bland food, only 4 pieces of chicken per curry. Certainly not as good as it used to be.
I have been coming here for over 8yrs and have never been let down by the food - both in the restaurant and for take out; our preferred. Best tip for the take out is to put your order in and then nip over the road to the Surrey Oaks - an award winning pub by CAMRA. All in all a winning combination and this is a top curry house to visit
I love this place. They always remember us when we go. Friendly and happy. The food is excellent with some classic Indian food and some new takes on classics too. Cannot recommend this place more. It's great.
After getting food poisoning at this restaurant I contacted the owner Mr Ali who invited me in to discuss my complaint. When I arrived he became extremely difficult and rude; he intimated that I had consumed too much alcohol.This was a take away. His attitude was simply appalling, he refused to reimburse the money I had spent but did offer me more of his attrocious food....all in all a very negative experience. Bad food, bad service and an abysmally poor customer care approach.
Great restaurant.. Good food.. Good atmosphere. I usually have the lamb shank which is full of amazing flavours. I would strongly recommend a visit. Also have pub accross the road for a quick drink. They have outside parking. @stressedsaffa @silver_chaz
Quiet Indian restaurant with fantastic food. Great menu choice and very attentive staff. It's a little way out from any town, but it is well worth the drive
Wont be going back here again. Stale popadoms to start not the first time Paid a premium for a "Tigerprawn" curry it was laughable can only assume chopped up peices of frozen prawn. Strange rude little man waiting the tables. A very odd character indeed
As ever the food was excellent and service good. We managed to get a table for 3 on Saturday evening without any problems.
Warm reception, very friendly staff and food came within reasonable time and tasted great! All in all, a brilliant experience and definitely worth the journey
The food was nice, the price a little steep, but the long wait for our food is what has brought the rating down.
