The Alhambra Café is an award winning Fish and Chip shop and has been well established since 1968.

At the Alhambra Café time and effort are put together to create a fine dining experience for you whether you take-away or make use of the café. If it's your first visit or you are a regular our experienced and friendly staff are here to provide you with a service of a high standard. Our menu contains a variety of but very traditional foods ranging from the award winning fish and chips, the popular sausage supper to our home made macaroni cheese and chicken curry.

Our Fish Friers are NFFF approved
Staff are trained in Food and Hygiene.

Visited the new and improved cafe/restaurant and I couldn’t have been more impressed! There was a wait to get seated (it was good Friday mind you) but this wasn’t an issue. The standard of service was excellent. It was lovely to speak with the owners and see them hard at work as well. 
The food was exceptional as was the atmosphere. The furniture and decor was lovely, so tasteful and really cozy. 
Will definitely be visiting again and telling friends and family! 5* from me! :-)

Its just been refurbished and its lovely.  I honestly would bring a date here happily. Not because im a cheapskate.  Just come and have a look you will see what im talking about
