Ordered a takeout tonight and have to say it was the best Chinese takeaway in the area by far. The food arrived hot and was really fresh and tasty. Cannot recommend enough! Been in the past for sit in and the food, atmosphere and staff are exceptional. 5 out 5 easily.
Visited this place at the weekend. And I have to say it's by far the worse place I have ever eaten. I reviewed this place a couple months ago and it was fantastic. Little did I know that it has changed owners and chefs. After arriving I was shown to a table and offered a drink . After receiving the drink I waited 10 mins then had to flag down a member of staff and ask for a menu . I wish I hadn't. When the food arrived it looked and tasted like it was made the day before and then microwaved for an hour. When asked " how's your meal?" When I said discussing, the waitress just walked away. I later found out that they have only 1* hygiene. So please if your reading this, do not eat here. And yes spent the next day mostly in the toilet
Well I have to say I am very disappointed. I have been to this venue several times in the past and had a fantastic night but this experience was not the same at all! We had a table booked for 10 of us and each person was very disappointed. We had called in advance to check they were providing Karaoke of which they said they would be. We got there and this was not the case. The atmosphere was completely dead and we were the only people there, however this would not have been an issue had they provided some sort of fun atmosphere of which we were expecting! We ate in our coats as the temperature was extremely cold. Our food took quite a while of which even though it was very nice was only warm and not hot. The ladies toilets were down to one as the 2nd cubicle light didn't work however the remaining toilet door stuck half way on the floor meaning you had a job to get out and it also did not lock. The mens toilets I believe had nothing provided to dry your hands on meaning the males in the party had to us tissue paper. The final straw came when they advised us they had "run out" of chicken breast! We were the only people there! How can that have happened! It's safe to say we ate quickly and then left and I'm afraid each person was dissatisfied and disappointed and will unfortunately not be recommending it as venue to future parties. I would like to add however the staff the staff were friendly and helpful however it felt like they had never been left in charge before and were very unsure of exactly what they were doing.
Visited 16.03.19. Ok food, good entertainment. Waitresses - poor management of large tables, treating the group as seperate tables meaning no one ate together, very unfriendly, unhelpful and am sure a crack might appear if one broke a smile - they let the venue down.
Had a 30th birthday party here and it worked well, for a small town Chinese restaurant they kept everything going past midnight with dj, karaoke and games. Not my favourite Chinese in the area overall but bloody good party and would recommend for something different to just a pub celebration
Fantastic evening for Jas's birthday. Welcoming & attentive. Food brilliant & Simon organised a birthday cake as well. Happy days.
Good food but the staff were really unhelpful when paying the bill left it to the party organiser the hen she was unable to relax and have a drink spoiled her night
Food was good however the owners wife who was is a server was rude and obnoxious to us will not be going again after the way she treated us!!!!!!!!

This is the best chinese restaurant i have ever been to staff are friendly food is AMAZING and for people that say its pricey personally i think the price is great for the Quality of food you get given A*
