The food is superb, the special fish is particularly excellent. Staff are always pleasant & it's well organised regards Covid. A shame their sit-in section is closed as that's a great option.

What a fabulous chippy, I didn’t sit in but the cafe looks spacious, very well laid out and clean. Plenty of staff and courteous too. The fish was amazing and the chips were perfect to me. Highly recommend if your in the area or fancy a travel for a decent scran..
Lovely fish and chips, lovely staff. Best f+ch we've have for a while. Kid-friendliness: There were families eating there, and there's kids menu options. Parking: We found street parking available, could be tricky at a busy time
We were recommended Alhambra Cafe by the hotel we were staying in as we were looking for a good haggis supper and fish supper. We were not disappointed and the food far exceeded our expectations. My husband loved his haggis and my special fish was, without a doubt, the best chip shop fish I've ever eaten. The chips were fantastic too. To top it all off, the staff in there are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area.

I heard great things about this chippy, sadly they weren't true compared to my local chip shops. The chips weren't cooked properly but the battered sausage was ok. I asked for salt and vinegar and I got vinegar and vinegar haha. The best thing about this place was the staff and price.
