Alfreton Park

A great little park for the mutt to exercise and terrorise the pigeons and squirrels, it's a shame some dog owners feel the need to leave poo bags in situ, and even more shameful that others don't even bother to bag them up. As usual it's probably the minority who spoil things for responsible dog owners. It could do with a couple more bins but overall a very handy little park.

Too much dog pooh in pooh bags hanging in trees and left on the floor (in bags) What's the point in picking it up if you have no intention of getting rid of it properly! Needs more pooh bins!

Parkwood Pottery, in the Parkwood Centre, is well worth a visit. Bit hard to find, no signs, so might be as well to phone first for directions. Really nice practical and attractive ceramic wear at very reasonable prices

Nice for a short walk, some area of play equipment for the kids, just an open area

I think Alfreton Park is great for taking your best friend for a walk and playing ball it's great for kids too
