From the arrival - the beer i wanted wasn't on behind the bar, the wine was just put on the table, not presented or asked to try, my starter was the worst prawns I've ever eaten, well actually i couldn't eat them, i asked for my fillet steak rare to blue, it came out medium, the veg and potatoes I'm sure were frozen, the desert was out of a packet, and all served up in horrid 80's style crockery, its safe to say i will not eat there again! £136 for 2 people?! I have paid much more and don't mind paying for good food and service, but even the waiter walked around with his dirty green serving cloth hanging out of his pocket. For that £136 you could eat in 2 or 3 rosette restaurants or possible Michelin starred restaurants. Also today, the day after my tumny has been bad, back to those prawns again i think.
Last night we celebrated our diamond wedding celebration at Alfredo's with family and friends, what a wonderful evening we had, the food was excellent and the service first class. We give Alfredo's 5 stars
Great food and friendly service. Excellent portion size and quality. It's stuck firmly in the 1970's decor wise but that is the irresistible charm of the place.
Amazing place been going for last 12 years going again tomorrow night wouldn't go anywhere else for a steak xxx
