Lovely place, always busy and friendly polite staff. Great menu and interesting specials. Unfortunately, not dog friendly but would be difficult to have a dog with you because there is not much space between tables.
Had a lovely coffee and toastie sitting outside. Menu actually had a great choice of snack and meals and the scones looked amazing. Vegetarian options: Mac and cheese looked lovely but plenty other choices. Was nearly tempted by chilli bean burger. Parking: Parking on street outside and Alford is easy to park anyway if its busy.
Lovely meal again - never disappointed. Good range of choices on menu. Food always served with a smile & efficiently. Nice atmosphere & prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
On the recommendations of a close friend we went in for lunch, we went in and asked for a drink each, before we sat at our table, after a discussion on what we wanted and the staff want we eventually got our drinks and sat at the table. We were then asked what we would like to eat, we hadn’t made our mind up and asked for some time, we were chatting, and then again the staff approached and we were quoted the licensing laws, of which I am well aware of as I am a head chef in a London restaurant, we ordered our food which was very good but the whole dining experience was spoiled because We were being rushed by the waiting staff of which I found to be rude
Absolutely outstanding haddock and chips today, regular visitor, always superb. Respect to Danzer, Sherry, Elaine and Taylor for brilliant Bistro. Thank You.Back again…Scampi and Chips with coke today, sublime. This place is magic. Thanks as always!
Met with friends for a cuppa and snacks. 2 of us had the scones which were lovely and the other had a bacon roll. Would definitely recommend this place.Food: 5/5
Many good options for dietary needs, large menu range with delicious food and great service from staff, would recommend! Vegetarian options: Good range of vegetarian food that the staff were happy to talk about. Many different options to choose from which is great. Kid-friendliness: Very kid/family friendly with space for pushchairs. Wheelchair accessibility: They cater for wheelchairs and have a disabled toilet available too. Dietary restrictions: Many options of food catering, new Vegan and Gluten-free cake came out recently which is delicious. Would recommend for the range of food!
Lovely little place on the main street in Alford. Love alk the little quirks, the gin bottles as vases and the tables and chairs. Great food too, very quick service and very good atmosphere.
