We hosted our year 11 Prom at Aldwickbury and it was fantastic. We arranged the event with Niamh who was so helpful and accommodating. And then on the day itself the team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Bobby Liz, Conor and Alice all deserve a personal mention. The food was great and there was plenty of it. And the the icing on the cake was that at the end of evening the whole team helped us to clear up - and they were so lovely about it. I would not hesitate to recommend the venue to anyone looking to host an event.
It's always a pleasure to play here. Friendly staff and members. Good food and some of the best greens in the area.
We had our wedding at Aldwickbury park golf club and we where looked after by Mimi who was amazing. The team as a whole ensured our day went as planned and was as magical as possible! Nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had a unique wedding day! On the day of our wedding we where looked after by both Alice and Connor who again where amazing and very accommodating. I would highly recommend them for your celebrations and weddings!
Attentive staff who are friendly and welcoming, a really lovely bunch. Nothing too much trouble. Restaurant good and course is enjoyable.
Like the vast majority of courses the fairways were parched. However the greens were excellent. Fast and true. If I have a gripe it would be that the bunkers were poor. Little sand on the floors of the bunkers, while the faces were heavily sanded. Maybe a lack of attention by staff, I don't know. The clubhouse facilities were good and our group were met by attentive and very pleasant staff
Had my wedding here. The staff on the day were fantastic. Special mention to Alice and her team. Thank you to Niamh and Holly who were only ever an email away. We had the best day.
We are a local Classic Car Club and use Aldwickbury GC as a starting point for our annual car run. We always start with breakfast at Aldwikbury and have just had our 2022 car run. Yet again we all enjoyed a very good breakfast. The hospitality,, club facilities and all the staff were fantastic as usual and looked after all our members. We will be back in 2023!
We had our wedding here and the team were absolutely fantastic, even with the Covid situation introducing challenges and meaning we had to delay for a year. Mimi and Holly were so so helpful and the wedding wouldn’t have happened without their hard work and planning. They listened to everything we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. The place looked beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were so helpful!
One of the courses owned and operated by Burhill Golf And Leisure Ltd. It has a modern and smart clubhouse and food was acceptable. The course is well maintained with all areas in good condition. The greens are in great shape, albeit at the time I played they were slow, but understand this was to protect them from expected extreame tempretures expected over next few days. If the greens are ever quick, it would be very challenging to 2 putt with some steep slopes or even get the ball to stop on approach shots. Even this slow, several approach shot barely held the green. The course is fair test, but two holes have a fence accorss the fairway, which some golfers will dislike. For the area, it is fairly hilly, but most golfers will be able to walk without a problem. The club also has a short Par 3 course, which is great for short game practice, introduction to golf, or want to take younger golfers. I wouldn't want to play here every week, but if you fancy something a little quirky, well worth a round.
My son and his fiancée got married at this venue yesterday. It was an absolutely amazing day, the wedding staff and bar staff made sure the day was wonderful. Such a nice setting. Thank you all so much for making their day so special.
