It was my first visit since Aldi put in the self-service or scan & go checkouts . They need to rename these to 'scan, wait for ages, then go' . Talking to other shoppers & a few staff members, they avoid using these due to them being so slow, stating the normal checkouts as being much quicker to use, so come on, Aldi bigwigs... get it sorted.nOtherwise, the experience was good, with great value products and friendly, helpful staff.
The soft plastic recycling bin is always full. It needs emptying more regularly!nMost of your goods are sold in soft plastic therefore you should be obliged to make it easier for your customers to recycle what you are producing.
I would like to bring to your attention the discrimination I had received in the shop today from one of the Shop attendance. I came into the shop to do my shopping and after that I went to pay for items I got, after placing my item on tales, the shop attendance started looking at my trolley And I then asked him what are you looking at he said he’s looking to see if I still have item left in my trolley and I said what do you mean are you trying to say I’ve got items there in my trolley that I don’t want to pay for and he said it’s just looking at my trolley to see if I’ve had items that I don’t want to pay for and my trolley was empty. When I asked him about what he did, he was so arrogant about it, and then even what to admit he done anything wrong or the way he treated me was wrong.
Easy access and parking. I like this store as it is more spacious than some other stores I have been to. It was very clean, tidy and well organised.
I do like Aldi products and their prices are very good. However I'm not so keen on this branch, a few years ago they moved a lot of the stuff around and I still struggle to find certain things. Prefer the Ross shop. There's the usual opening and closing of tills, often resulting in long queues. Plus there is no social distancing, as someone who is still concerned about COVID 19 I don't feel terribly comfortable. Plenty of free parking, part of the car park is on an incline, take care if using a shopping trolley. Staff seem polite.
