Nice and quiet on a Saturday evening at 18:30. Would always recommend shopping outside the rush hours. Well stocked and friendly staff.
The fresh produce is genuinely impressive – fruit and veg look bright and fresh, and the prices are unbeatable I got a huge punnet of strawberries for 99p the other day. Their bakery counter smells amazing, and the sourdough loaf is proper crusty perfection for under £2. The meat and fish counters are great quality too; the salmon fillets are thick, fresh, and half the price of the big four supermarkets.nWhat really sets Aldi apart is the staff – always friendly, chatty, and lightning-fast at the tills. No hanging about for ages; they scan like superheroes and still manage a smile and a quick “how’s your day?” The Specialbuys are legendary – I’ve picked up everything from ski socks to air fryers at ridiculous prices.nYes, the range is smaller than Tesco or Sainsbury’s, but honestly, I have everything I need and then some. My weekly shop for a family of four now costs £60–£70 instead of £110+ elsewhere, and I’m actually eating better quality food.nAldi isn’t just cheap – it’s clever, cheerful, and consistently excellent. Me, being German, I love Aldi. I always consider Aldi as very clean, good accessible, friendly, competent staffs.nWhat I experienced at Aldi in Crewe...was just sad. GIRLS on the till...if you dont want to work here, go and let someone else take your job.nUnfriendly and grumpy..almost like they have been told off collectively the minute they got on the till. We understand there are stressful times. We queued on till 1...after several minutes...the girl on the till shouted..to move to till 3..as she is closing.nOk we moved to till 3. Same thing..after several minutes staying in the queue, starting putting our shopping on the band...girl shouted to move to till 1....ok..we moved...believe it or not....it happen again. At this time I complaint.nFinishing shopping and walking outside I saw the flower pots completely dried out...and all over the places.nIt looks like the management at Aldi Crewe....needs a massive week up.
My family and I are very satisfied with our purchase of Aldi, and I have recommended it to my friends. Both the quality of the foods and the price are good.
What store has a closing time but shuts the doors too stop people coming in 10 mins before close not very good will be going too the other aldi from now on heard the staff are nicer
