Good sized store with easy access. Recent changes have included installation of several self-service tills, leaving only a couple of traditional tills. Staff very helpful.
This shop is fabulous Chris the manager couldn't do enuf to help altho he was extremely bizzy he went out of his way to help me find what I was looking for and suggested an alternative so we'll done chirs ill be back.
I have come on here to complain about this person afew times but thought against as we all have bad days but I don't think it’s a bad day for this employee she is just exceptionally rude.nI often watched SHEILA on your tills Huff, puff and role her eyes at the slightest inconvenience and be what can only be described as dragon like towards your customers. But today she did it a very elderly man who was struggling to use the card machine.nShes never nice anyway but my goodness she was horrible to this man today and if she was my employee I’d want to know. Just no need to be this horrible daily to be people and if she is so unhappy in work she should maybe look for a new job not dealing with members of the public.nnEdit- just looked at all your negative comments on here and they are all regarding the same person. Aldi do something instead of ignoring your customers views. I’ll be shopping elsewhere and hopefully won’t have to see Sheila again.
There is a limited selection of products available on the shelves, particularly if one wishes to avoid excessive cardboard packaging. Additionally, there are stock issues, and there are very few staff members available on the floor to assist customers.
Old woman staff member with larger build and black hair has stopped me shopping there.nFor the last 3 years I’ve lived local to here I’ve put up with her abrupt attitude.nnI can practically put a full shop through without a word being spoken. Im 45 but treated with utter contempt and then will be nice with the next person in the till.nnI can’t put across very well in words what 3 years of being snarled at by the same person for no reason is like but I now refuse to shop there.nnThe final straw came when I had finished a 15 hour shift and I was exhausted and for the first time I used the self checkout till as zero people manning the tills in the evening and she was snatching stuff away from what I was doing and not saying a word and just being overly involved in me scanning items whilst comming across as very aggressive to somebody just shopping on their own in the evening. It literally ruined my night and went home wound up.nnShe needs to go, she may be well tied in due to the years she has worked there and the relationship she possibly has with the other staff but as an ex store manager myself this woman’s work ethic has expired.
