I love Aldi but some things can be more expensive these days than it used to be. They do have random things in the big baskets but they're expensive too. Mines is local and I always shop in it for alot of items but I also go to another store for other things. Great selection for fruit and nuts etc.
Aldi is what it is. The company spends oodles on PR, marketing and getting on Ch4 and CH5 with those programmes which are really just hour long adverts. There are some products that offer exceptional value for money and others that offer similar looking products to main brands that lookalike but when you get them home are not near as good as the original. Jo matter how in try I just can't get used to having my purchases chucked at me at the checkout when you eventually get there through. Pint of milk. Butter. Fresh chicken. Oh and a canoe, tent, shark gun, and ratchet set, what's not to like. Aldi and Lidl are hugely successful because have found a formula that works for them amd delivers for their customers. Genius.
Its probably one of the better supermarkets to visit but you need to be careful when buying fruit and vegetables as they are not always at their best
Great store plenty of product easy parking
Filled my cupboards and fridge & freezer best range of products for low price customer service was excellent, asked for recommended wine for food and got shown which wine goes well with different types of foods with both white and red wines. Stock was low for new years but still at good quality of products for the time of year it was, best way to end year well done
