Average shop with limited variety of goods, lots of lost leaders hoping that customers buy extras….nQueues are a given at the assisted counters but now scan and go installed so those that want to wait and pay can and those like me who are on the fly all the time can DIY checkouts. Well done Aldi you heeded my but forgot to add the Mobile scanners to the new POS system so how to you scan a plant without the soil falling out ?nTrolley systems use tokens so make sure you have a couple to release your trolley for the shop.nStaff friendly at the checkout.
Good fresh produce, pre-packed meats, bread, needs to be checked, because sell by dates aren't always good! I feel that staff aren't checking the product dates properly, many times I've found, bacon, sausage, to be past their sell by dates!
Top quality supermarket and cheap compared to the other big ones! Do the big shop there everyweek. Staff always friendly and good range of products.nnCan't really complain and since they added self service means don't get stuck behind Julie, Baz and three kids doing ther monthly shop when you have a meal deal.
