Very good place for shopping, with low prices and good quality products. Lots of promotions or stuff with special prices. The very friendly staff is always happy to help. Sometimes that struggle with busy times, but that is not changing my opinion about this place. Lots of parking spaces for cars and a free phone if you want to book a taxi.
The staff were fantastic today 26/10/24 as I felt unwell. They came with a chair and a drink and stayed with me whilst my hubby did the rest of the shopping. Thanks to the staff who helped me
This older store feels like a bit of a dungeon with a cluttered entrance and a gloomy interior. It has a good range of basic products and a decent vegetable selection. German wines are rare in this German owned store...shame! One of this week's bargains was beautiful fresh cauliflower! The middle aisles are a bit of a jumble sale with lots of baby stuff and snacks, not that interesting to a post/non child-rearing shopper. Highlight of the visit was a shoplifter pursued by a young woman and 2 burly men...given the current knife craze, those are brave people.
8p for vegetables is amazing. Carrots , potatoes , cabbage, parsnip, sprouts & Brocoli keep it up Aldi.
Staff usually always polite and friendly, on this occasion I didn't have any change in my purse, approached 3 members of staff until I could get a trolley released, was told by an assistant go buy a carrier bag and get cash back, the queues were at least 4 customers deep, really!! Is this good service on this occasion?
