Very good place for shopping, with low prices and good quality products. Lots of promotions or stuff with special prices. The very friendly staff is always happy to help. Sometimes that struggle with busy times, but that is not changing my opinion about this place. Lots of parking spaces for cars and a free phone if you want to book a taxi.
Staff usually always polite and friendly, on this occasion I didn't have any change in my purse, approached 3 members of staff until I could get a trolley released, was told by an assistant go buy a carrier bag and get cash back, the queues were at least 4 customers deep, really!! Is this good service on this occasion?
Nice modern shop with ample carparking. Products are good and affordable.
Some unfriendly staff. I witnessed an accident from the beginning to the lastnbetween two customers, and the sales agent who just came in halfway called the attention of the manager and pointed to one of the customers who happened to be bl××ck but without the manager asking questions he immediately walked the bl×××ck customer in a rude manner out of the shop. I tried to explain to the manager, but he ignored me and did what pleased him.
Aldi, Entwistle Rd, Rochdale. Have introduced self service cash & card tills.nI'm not a fan of these self service tills.nIf your in a rush and only have 2/3 items I guess they are Ok.nBut when the management at Aldi store for e you into using these self service tills I strongly object to this.nManagement have only one till open that is operated by a member of staff as the ques of people with more than 2/3 items are grows.nThe Aldi staff are herding their customers along to use the self service tills that they don't wish to use.nNot good for the community employmentnNot good for the consumernBumper profits for the stores which I'm sure the management will blag us by saying these SST help to keep our prices low.nSo we now load up our trolleys and baskets so we can work at an Aldi store free of charge !!!nBe careful vigilant when you park your car at Aldi.nI didn't realise until I arrived home that my tyre had been let down. I thought it was a puncture, pumped the tyre up and it is still pumped up.
