We have been shopping here weekly for 2 years however one of the staff members at the till names Maria treats us like we are delinquents. While queuing to pay at the till after we have unloaded our shopping on to the belt she asked us to show her our bags that’s we bring from home to carry our shopping. Firstly I wouldn’t empty my shopping on to the conveyor belt if I was going to steal and secondly I wouldn’t bother queuing up. I never had this issue with other staff but only with her. I find it disrespectful as we come to shop here with our kids and it’s embarrassing for someone to challenge us like that specially if we have queued to pay
Shocking treatment from the security guardnI’m 78 and disabled. I was taking my shopping to mt car in a black wheely basket.. The guard very abruptly stopped me and removed my shopping leaving it in the floor… he said I’m not allowed to take the basket out of the store .. I then asked if he would help me as I’m obviously disabled I have level 5 spinal degeneration and unable to carry … He point blank refused… this is in breach of the equality law I’ve checked I’ve emailed the CEO but so far he’s no respondednAldi done care a toss about elderly and disabled people AVOID THIS STORE !
Walked into the store half past 3 on Sunday, message for customers to leave and pay was on repeat and made my way through shop to the till. Last isle 3.50 got shouted at by aggressive blond woman from the till. I was getting a last bit snack for my baby son. As far as i am aware they not closing 3.45 or 3.50 i had plenty of time to get to her not many people queuing to pay if any. Then they shouted and laughed with colleagues as if they are in a pub. Very unpleasant experience.
Can't even trust the shopper that scan there own shopping bag and then kick up a stink when you try too.nnStaff are rude as hell.
Thank God for ALDI. I've been getting ripped off from Tescos all my life before my local store opened up. Also their fruit is generally much better than Tescos.
