Great Aldi my favourite one out of the three in York very bright and well set out does get busy but never a long wait to check out
Instore at Water Lane great however realised on arriving home I’d left my collection of bags for life at the cash desk. Called and spoke with Lauren at ‘Customer Service’ to let them know and ask them to keep them aside until I’m able get back to the store to pick them up. Just received a series of really unhelpful ‘computer says no’ answers …you’re just gonna have to go back to the store’, ‘can’t put you through to the store’, ‘nothing can be done to help’, ‘we have no telephone numbers for the stores’, ‘the stores are too busy to help you’, ‘there is no one else here who can help you’, ‘managers don’t speak to customers’, ‘no’ to whether there were any ways she could help me, ‘no’ to me asking for any potential solutions to my predicament, just ‘no’. Really disappointing!
Aldi food produce has went up massively in quality over the last couple of years, the fruit is fresh and juicy, veg is crisp, but meat is still a bit questionable.nThis store was quite a mess, it was like shopping in a warehouse instead of a supermarket, just boxes, trollies, pallets, cardboard all over the place.nIt felt disorganised and chaotic but there was about 3 staff members on the floor reorganizing that level of sales turnover which is ridiculous and no fault to them really.nSeems like the management needs to pull their finger out and get stuck in and up the rotas.nnOverall, decent but needs improvement, the prices are still great.
Great store, orga I prosecco at a fabulous price and a lovely one too
Aldi...nNothing to complain about, adequate parking, convenient for York and surrounding area
