I am a loyal customer but recently I am finding it hard to do a weekly shop as I am fighting to find best before dates on fresh produce longer than a day or two and often sifting through the back of the shelves. Please fix this, it was particularly bad today with a lot of items expiring today.
I love how every Aldi that I go to is fairly similar to my local store, making it so much easier when shopping as I know where most things are. The middle isle is amazing
I don't know why with the big supermarkets that "value" means flavourless. Certainly not with the value supermarkets! Aldi's humus, guacamole, chocolate bars and Super Six weekly vegetables are outstanding, and the Mocktails are superb. Staff are fabulous, friendly, and funny, and the meat deals change weekly. I particularly like the special sandwiches, so full of flavour, and a couple of quid cheaper than competitors. Wine is of a very high standard card, as is the beer selection. Married with some of the frozen products one has a ready made party. Brilliant!
A nice, well stocked supermarket but stuck in the past. The store hasn’t had an update for a number of years, and there are no self checkouts, which means there are the undeniably long queues you usually find at shops like Lidl or Aldi. The store could really use a makeover!
I think both aldi and lidl have less than they used to and have more centre isle stuff you probably don't need Eg where did all the chicken jar sauces go cranberry sauce plus lots of other grocery type of goods ?
We often stop here to buy snacks as a half way point on our six-hour journey between home and family. As well as buying sandwiches and an iced coffee, we bought a few provisions for home. At the check out we were served by a very cheerful, communicative, pleasant young man. The chatting and packing experience was very positive. On Sunday 29th October, about 10.00am we used checkout No.1.where we were served efficiently and pleasantly, by this member of staff. I was so busy chatting and packing that I didn’t notice the member of staff's name. However, it was a pleasant experience and he is a wonderful example of how to treat customers. We left the store feeling very positive about the interaction and enjoyed our coffee and sandwich in the car park.
Lots of things to eat, check out the extra special range quality products at a reasonable price.
