Really disappointed. After seeing good reviews we booked a table here for 8.30 on a Saturday night. Probably the worst night out I've had in a long time. The table wasn't ready so we waited a long time to be seated. Eventually sat down just before 9pm. As we had a babysitter we needed to be home by 10.30 but hadn't got our mains by 10pm. There were a lot of complaints from nearby table too about speed of service or lack of. We complained and were offered free drinks, but having been drinking on an empty stomach since 8.30 we were really past more drinks at that stage. Probably a one off unlucky visit, but won't be going back. Very disappointed.
The food was fantastic. Quite delicious. Cant fault it. However the thing that let this restaurant down was the lack of warmth and welcome. The owner or head waiter was quite cold and dismissive. But if you want a good meal I would highly recommend Aldeia.
