The stadium has seen better days but I wouldn't change a thing. The toilets are basic at best but they have great Christie's pies. You'll also always get a seat. We'll worth a visit.
Went to my first football match there against stirling good match fans behind both teams had a good day .last time l was in the ground was to watch speedway over 50 years ago good luck in the cup
A death trap. With the amount of rubbish lying about the main stand, only time before another Bradford happens. There's something not right with a the people in this area. Having visited Airdrie, now here, I have never met such biased fans that just seem to go to moan. My back is still sore 4 hours later from the most uncomfortable seats
Smashing old fashioned football ground, that can play host to a cracking atmosphere if there's a decent crowd in. Unfortunately becoming more and more of a rarity in today's football culture, where legoland stadia is king.
Its a bit run down as football grounds go looks a bit amateur standard looking compared to others never the less though its still a nice day out and the fans are friendly
An enjoyable afternoon at Albion Rovers Football Club in Coatbridge. Some parking in the street adjacent to the ground. A disabled toilet is available. The washrooms have recently been upgraded and were clean and modern. The stands are a bit tired and dated. Excellent snack bar with good products and friendly staff. The pitch was in first class condition. Reasonable entry prices.
We change from the normal today went to celebrate Albion Rovers 140th year in Scottish football, the Wee Rovers from Coatbridge didn't let us down either. For a small club it was a nice gesture to put on their pies & hot drink for £1.40 for all supporters you don't get many premiership clubs doing that for the fans. Both Albion & Stenhousemuir put on a good game ended in a 2- 2 draw but the Ref was a bit harsh with the penalty and sending off . Smashin wee afternoon watchin football .
Cliftonhill is a classic old fashioned football ground. The stadium’s over 100 years old so doesn’t look like the generic modern stadia that other clubs have. The staff are all friendly and the whole place has a good family club feel about it. I started attending games 8 years ago and haven’t looked back.
Good old fashioned football stadium. Pity the football was terrible but a good night out non the less. Kids under 12 went free with paying adult which was a nice gesture.
Lovely warm welcome from everyone. From turnstile to raffle to club shop to pie stall and all round - people just saying hello and smiling everywhere you go in one of Scotland's most iconic grounds. Great fans and arguably the best PA announcer in the game.
