We came here as a party of 2 around 4:30pm on a Sunday. We did have a reservation but it wasn't necessary as it was quite empty inside likely due to our timing. The seating inside includes some bar seating and booths. There is also outdoor seating as well which some patrons enjoyed but it was too hot for us. We got seated right away at a booth. We were initially here for just the drinks but got peckish and so ended up ordering some food. Drinks: - Barrel Aged Martinez: SO GOOD. We got it twice! It's a bit alcohol forward but the smokiness balances it great. I also thought it had a great caramel after taste - Albert's Gibson: Loved the refreshing Yuzu in this - Yellowstone Collins: Super duper refreshing as well Food: - Shoe string fries: Nothing to complain about fries. - Albert's Burger: Great burger! - Mac n Cheese: Quite a good serving for the price! also delicious - Bonus - house made hot sauce: I asked for hot sauce and they gave me this and I thought it was AWESOME. The service was GREAT. Super friendly staff and super nice. Explained some things about the menu to us as well. I would definitely visit again! Perhaps with a larger group as well
We held our wedding reception at Albert's & they helped make my dream wedding possible! I cannot say enough about the beautiful nature of the space and the staff. This is an absolute midtown gem, and will impress anyone you bring here- family, friends, a date, anyone! You wont find anything else like it. We have been back since our wedding for dinner- you can't keep us away ;
My friends and I was referred to this establishment on Sunday evening - we came to Albert’s and it was an amazing experience..Phenomenal customer service, nice ambiance, great decor including the tile paintings in the bathroom and the wall decor! The food was all freshly made to order, drinks were on point and the desserts was very tasteful - our waiter Allen I believe his name handled our table very well - great sense of humor all while remaining professional and accommodating all our requests! We even got to meet the owner for a chit chat as well. Nonetheless, if you are in NYC, go and visit Albert’s you will not be disappointed - very nice upscale bar/restaurant with great prices! I didn’t post any of the pictures of the inside because it’s worth a visit to get wow’d away in person!! Can’t wait until our next visit to the city because we will be returning to Albert’s!!
I do really love the vibe here. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The cocktail program is fantastic, offering very thoughtfully curated cocktails while maintaining the classics. The space is fantastic for events, both large and small.
Had the best time here on a Friday night! Loved the dimly lit, art deco vibes making it a great date night spot or drinks with friends. Place was buzzing The cocktails are a good size and strong! Especially liked the Appletini and tonight at noon drinks We shared some apps that were delicious and a great size.. loved the jerk chicken drumstick & Mac n cheese. Would love to come back after work for a drink!
Needed a fancy place where a tuxedo and ball gown wouldn't look out of place, but also wouldn't break the bank, to kill time before an afternoon wedding. Albert's hit the spot! Classy place, decor was 1950s jazz themed, and the bathrooms had a hilarious tile pattern seriously, if you get a drink, visit the bathroom afterward. Wait staff were personable and responsive. We left a 50% tip. Hotel checkout was 11a, and the event was at 3:30p, and they were happy to let us chill on a wintry Sunday. Vegetarian options: Menu/chef were flexible with ingredients.
This place is on the expensive side but has great drinks. Food is really good too. Great after work spot. Pretty spacious and they have live music sometimes too. Took off a star because one of the bar tenders made a pretty rude and sarcastic comment about how much I tipped. We didn’t order anything crazy and only got about five basic drinks. Pretty unprofessional.
Back to try out new food menu. Bar is buzzing, live jazz is giving the weekend vibes and new menu is banging as always. Chef Nick amd kitchen crew are Food: 5/5
Great place! I went with a coworker and had a great time! The bartender was awesome and provided great service! I only ordered a couple of of appetizers, but they were unique and delicious! My coworker wasn't drinking alcohol, but their NA options were awesome, especially the alcohol free version of an aperol spritz! Wasn't cheap but worth the experience. Will definitely return next time I'm venturing close!
I was waiting for the Jitney the other day having a slice of pizza on the sidewalk in front of Albert’s when a woman who worked there came up to me abruptly telling me I didn’t have a right to stand there even though I was on public property on the sidewalk. Her approach was incredibly off putting and unnecessary. I wasn’t even going to write a review, but I happened to have extra time waiting for the Jitney again today and would have went to Albert’s since it looks like a nice ambiance and good menu. But I didn’t like the way she treated me and have no interest in even trying this place now because of her horrible way of communicating. Please learn to treat other human beings with respect. It goes a long way. Update: What is said in response to my review is inaccurate. I never sat at any of their tables or chairs. I stood on the sidewalk on public property eating pizza. I was not blocking their main entrance. The staff member was incredibly rude and disrespectful, laughing in my face. I will not remove my review. I can see why the place is completely empty both times I waited for the Jitney.
