Very tasty fish and chips, good size portions and friendly staff
The chips did not look like the British traditional white fluffy chips. The fish was okay. It was also a little pricey. Since my last review I visited again. There has been significant improvements.
Nice people serving, plus the Gluten Free batter they offer, also grilled fish in rice flour for those avoiding gluten or wheat. They offer lunch time specials to pensioners.
One of the best fish and chips we have tasted. Will definitely return.
Just found out it’s been taken over and it shows. Cod bites inedible and batter massively undercooked. Chips undercooked and hard. Curry sauce completely changed. Avoid.
Fantastic portions. Fish was fresh and full of flavour. Chips were just right. Batter in the fish was perfect and not greasy. Beautiful touch it was given to us in a reusable tote bag. So delighted to have found this Fish Bar. Also give NHS discount on showing ID.
