I had a cut and tint at Alan Lawrence using their offer code, yes there is a long hair charge which could come as a surprise if you don't read their website details properly. I do however feel that the standard price should be on their website for both short and long hair so that there is no surprise when you show up for your appointment. 
The service was good, but quite relaxed and over hearing less than professional conversations was a bit off putting, as I feel like these could have been conducted somewhere more private. 
The offer code was great however I do feel that if I were to return that the previous discount should be offered again as this would ensure returning custom, I have had previous hairdressers that create a returning customer discount which is more appealing, and because of this I will go to my old hairdressers rather than Alan Lawrence.

Lovely friendly staff at Alan Lawrence. I am always warmly greeted, and promptly offered a complimentary tea or coffee on my arrival. I've had my hair done by most of the girls who work at the salon and I can say I trust them all, they are all GREAT!. I really, really recommend this hairdressers!

Booked well in advanced for a cut & finish with one of their "top" stylists, think her name was Lauren? Was going out for a friends birthday and had explained what I wanted. Basically she done what she wanted and I'm not happy at all. Overall a unhappy experience and will not be returning or recommending to anyone. . Like I also told her in person Lauren feel superior to the customer and should listen to what the customer wants..

I have had mixed experiences. Been 3 times. First time using a voucher, which I was happy with the end result. Second time, I had someone different and it was ok. I had the same style but end result, I wasn't as impressed with. 
The third time, I had someone different again, it was on a quieter day mid week this time, and the experience was completely different. The hairdresser was awful - she did the opposite to the picture i showed. I looked like a zebra!! 
Atmosphere was very different - clearly no senior staff around as one hairdresser was on the washbasin seat, laughing loudly watching her iPad! Zero professionalism for a supposed up market hairdressers. 
Then when I went to pay - there was an in salon offer (which I followed T&Cs) - they charged me extra for hair length, below shoulders when my length was just touching top of shoulders not below. This was an extra surcharge of £15 then they charged an extra fee for a second colour (I didn't ask for) and a toner they used. So still cost me close to the normal prices! 
But for me I've decided not to return on this last experience. 
I'm not saying you wouldn't get a good experience but my three experiences were hit and miss.

Zero customer service. I recently came here with a groupon voucher for a cut and colour the hairdresser didn’t bother to ask for the voucher on arrival. I then asked for my hair to be died slightly lighter and was convinced to do something I wasn’t sure about. Ended up with ginger streaks in my dark brown hair. Upon asking me if I liked my new hair I replied truthfully, that no I did not. The every rude hairdresser told,e I had an attitude instead of politely asking how we could fix this problem. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unhappy the whole time I was there and what’s more it took 5 hours. I wouldn’t return even if it was free. No customer service.
