Been going there since it first opened many year ago, always enjoy the atmosphere, the staff can’t ever do enough, the managers are very welcoming and always make me feel valued. Food is very tasty especially the Lamb chop starter, will always be my go to for a good curry.Food: 5/5
Grew up eating here despite people telling me terrible experiences of food poisoning and bad customer service, including a smell coming from the kitchen. Ordered a curry as a takeaway and half way into eating, I found a SNAIL IN MY FOOD !!! I don’t recommend eating here and I wish I listened to all the warnings !!! When I went to notify them I didn’t even complain as I mentioned I grew up eating here so I had respect for the establishment however they didn’t reciprocate the same respect as they accused me of lying especially the girl at the front desk who deals with the phone orders, claiming I was lying as if I had put in the snail myself! She continued to call me a liar, got defensive and said she didn’t believe me and I couldn’t find the pictures at the time as they were on my other phone like I said I didn’t come to complain just notify them. She called the manager over who told me the same that it never happens which I have heard the opposite from a lot of people when I shared my experience with them. They said that they have a “process” to wash the spinach clearly not well enough. I could also hear her laughing at me during this and telling other employees, which made me feel unwelcome and angry, as I came very calmly. Was treated very horrible, they don’t know how to deal with complaints and did not handle the situation well at all. Lost a loyal customer and DEFINITELY WON’T be going back again.
Food is tasty and comes in good portions. Quick service too. Environment a bit too dark though and plates on which rice is served is very small, not enough space on table too if you are a big group. Kid-friendliness: Yes, high chairs available too
We come here as a family often and have never been disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere has always been perfect. I couldn’t recommend it enough! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and really make the experience 10/10 on a whole. Can’t wait to be there again soon !Food: 5/5
Totally recommend for couples and families. There is a wide choice of food to choose from, including drinks and desserts, no to forget how quick the food is served. A nice atmosphere with super friendly staff, who tend to every need you have - most courteous. The food is definitely fresh, traditional and it tastes lovely. The prices are reasonable and the general table spread is appealing . This is the place to go to for a sit in traditional eat out . Babies welcome too, high chairs are included, banqueting suite is upstairs for hire. The only thing I’d have advised the manager is to update the decor.

Staff were really friendly from the start and the waiting time wasn’t long at all despite it being very busy. When it comes to food i consider myself very tough to please however the food here was honestly out this world first time i come and I loved my experience will 100 percent come again recommend to everybody. I was with my 3 kids and they food caters for all likings.
I had the pleasure of dining at Akbar's restaurant with our friend and their 6 year old daughter, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Family Naan, a special dish that left a lasting impression. The naan was not only delicious but also generously portioned sufficient for 5 adults, making it a perfect choice for sharing among friends and family. The overall dining experience at Akbar's was fantastic. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the service was attentive, and the menu offered a wide range of delectable dishes. I highly recommend trying their Family Naan and look forward to returning for more memorable meals. Even on Friday evening, we managed to get a table within 15 min waiting and catered while we were waiting.
We can home regularly, my dad is a big time fan and always the food is brilliant, the atmosphere palpable and the service is always amazing. Second to none with staff treating you like family and looking after you so well. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Very busy! On a Tuesday tea time as well? What's with that Food is delicious so no wonder it was busy! Not been in here for years and I was under the impression that it had been renovated and made brighter, roomier, airier? If you catch my drift / this is a word - Didn't appear it had been Although it was dark inside, so hard to tell? When you serve great food, you want people to be able to see it and also see the kind waiting staff...This is why I've graded the atmosphere a 3...Needs opening up Parking: Loads of parking available
