The one thing I can tell you about this place is the food is amazing.. There are no issues with the food quality. However, we went for lunch, it was dead quiet, us and another couple were in and once we ordered it took 30 mins for tea/drinks to come out and this was only after we asked. While the food was good, I felt neglected. Robin who served us lacked attention and care. Food took another 20 after that to come out. Given 4 stars as the food was on point but really doesn't excuse the poor service. One positive/not so positive is the 50% off. Mixed feelings on this one, half the menu mainly lamb karahi and a couple of other things which meant much of the menu wasn't included. He did however give us 50% on the chops. There is also a 10% mandatory service charge, given the service was substandard this felt like a scam. I probably won't eat here again..
I really like this place! The dynamite chicken wings are incredible I love the sauce it’s so delicious and the wings were fried to perfection with a crispy golden outer layer. Next time I must try the dynamite prawns! I had the lamb shish as a main and it was good, I do think the lamb was cooked a bit too much but it was still quite soft, next time I’ll ask them not to cook too much. The rice had some spices such as cumin which went really well with the lamb. The rice was very fluffy and yummy!! I ordered the passion fruit daiquiri but unfortunately it tasted horrible it didn’t have any flavour. However the staff changed my drink without any issues and were so lovely so I got a passion fruit mojito and it was delicious!! Just make sure to ask for it sweet. My partner had the butter chicken and rice and really enjoyed it. The butter chicken was ‘great’ according to my partner, he said considering they offer other cuisines this was a great butter chicken! Their Peshwari naan was delicious, it tasted very fresh and the portion size was amazing! They also have a shisha lounge in the garden area so it’s a great place to meet friends or date night! Overall I’ll rate this place 8/10 as it serves great food and has great customer service.
Akaya Lounge is perfect for parties, shisha bar and family dining in beautiful atmosphere. Kids love the environment inside. Now a days they have singer and live music. Food quality is much better then before. Mix grilled so delicious. Some of the curries are really good. They also have 50% off on lunch time most of the time so check please. My kids love Little fish Aquarium . Definitely go again to try some more dishes.
Me and my wife attended this place for her birthday as I had heard it was an amazing place and were not disappointed. We were served by a very kind and friendly and welcoming member of staff called Raman and the rest of his staff were so warm and friendly. The food was outstanding and tasted out of this world. To anyone coming here I highly recommend the Lamb chops and rice, they were honestly one of the best iv ever had. This place has everything from Friendly staff to lovely decor to fantastic food. Couldn’t ask for anything more. I definitely will be returning very soon. 10/10 does not do it justice.
Such beautiful scenery and friendly staff, our server was called Iva she was so very lovely, the food is great and I cannot stress enough how nice the scenery is especially for birthday pictures ect. The food was really good I got mixed kebab I think and big portion size, my friend Adelina enjoyed her birthday here and they made it very special.
