Staying at St George Hotel, unimpressed by their menu, wandered down the hill to The Akash.  Was impressed by the service and food, which appeared to be authentically prepared and extremely tasty.  Waiters were attentive but not over-bearing.  The Akash has an attention to detail which made the visit very pleasurable.

I eat here regularly with my family and have been doing so for 25 years now. The food is consistently high quality and full of flavour. For my money, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at.

Been going for many years, my family since the day they opened. Top class cuisine.

Always excellent Bobby Charlie and the gang always look after you.
