I have a patient with Practice all my life and the Staff could not be more helpful. I had a Telephone appointment with the Practice Nurse Jackie she is very good at her job and an amazing human understanding that we are more than just patient. Thank you for all you do
While amazing at first I have had some Serious issues of late with them, First the good there great for appointment and lovely and been referred on in a great manner when needed to be. Secondly the bad I have not had the correct medication prescribed to me in three months with issues going on longer to today where I received the wrong medication in the wrong format and the wrong dose, I’m hoping they get back to there previously amazing service and these issues are quickly fixed
Always a pleasure, I'm so grateful to be a patient at your surgery. Thank you & today's experience was as always top notch, I have high anxiety when it comes to having my bloods drawn, & the Dr was amazing I didn't feel a thing & she was absolutely lovely a credit to your surgery. Thank you so much
I had a blood test appointment with Saida Nurse, met her for the first time but she made me very comfortable and she was very professional and friendly..
Called from 8am - 9am. Was stuck in the queue for majority of it Called from 12pm-1pm. Nobody answered Had to leave outside of break hours, finally call was answered at 3.45pm. No evening appointments available from 18th March - 18th July. Awful surgery, have to chase them up for things they should be doing themselves. They've had a few decent doctors in and out. I cant fault Dr. Ghauri. Dr. Maw should be retiring soon. Never found anything wrong with me after going to her tens of times. New face - Dr. Bates, after one consultation he had put me on medication and diagnosed a life long condition that neither Dr. Maw, nor the retired doctor could find after 3 years of consultations. After one day of leaving this review Ailsa Craig magically appeared to have a appointment for me the next day in the evening, after telling me they didnt have any appointments available from 18 March - 18th July?? Awful service. Rude receptionists. Doctors have been there way too long. No communication with pharmacies - customers have to chase the doctors and the pharmacies up themselves as receptionists don't do what they're being paid for.
Not happy not happy at all, 3 days ago I have asked for my inhalers, it’s today the 09/02/24, I am going away till the 25 th, asked for an extra inhaler first cos my ventolin will not be enough and neither my trimbow. Got told no! And if I lose one of them? , most of the staff at the reception needs training! They say well trained staff when some got an attitude, put the phone down on us, we ask for something they don’t request it or even put it on the system! When we call back no one knows anything about it and u call yourselves well trained staff?! I used to be a manager for years and if was with me most of u would have been sacked a long time ago, try to get to talk to my Gp I got more chances to talk to the prime minister! She never there, that I get doctors that I never seen and got to tell them all my history cos they had no time to check it so all my time goes and most of the time for nothing? Train ur staff we do not call u if we wouldn’t need help !
Horrible horrible unhelpful receptionist by the name of Sofia . setting at the desk not paying attention to the patient. I requested repeat prescription last Wednesday and being there 3 times and saying it’s still not approved. I even mentioned that to her that please pass on the request to dr Maw it’s clearly tell that she didn’t bother to pass the message on to dr Maw. Dr Anne Maw is a brilliant doctor I and whole my family have been her/ or the surgery patient for years or since 2003 and she is always great. unfortunately this new receptionist simply ignorant and this is simply not acceptable.
Brilliant customer service, we found the medical practitioner/nurse very polite, professional and helpful. She was kind. I would strongly recommend this surgery.
I have to say that the staff are mostly good. My gripe is how the practice is run and for whose benefit. My experience is that the practice has gone down and become more akin to a conveyor belt since Dr Nanavati retired. It appears to be run not for the convenience of patients. One has to phone 8am but the lines are constantly busy. The receptionists advise that if you don't manage to get to phone at 8.00 then go to a walk in clinic, call NHS 111 or go to A&E. The question that I pose is that if I am a patient of the practice and the practice gets NHS funding for me, then why am I being directed to alternative places. Even during the day if one calls on the phone the caller is placed in a queue to go on the practice queue. This can be up to 30 minutes. My needs are very simple. I just want to get an appointment with a doctor who I am comfortable with and at a time of my choice within limitations of availabilty for the practice and if I have to wait for a while that is not an issue for me. No one is able to address these issues for me.
Terrible service, have decided to move to another surgery. Go elsewhere and don't waste your time with these charlatans.
