By far the worst building company on the planet. Turned our house into a disaster zone after a small fire, with continuous health and safety problems still going on some ten years later. In the end another team from a different firm came in to repair all the disasters they left. Bodge after bodge, short cut after short cut. There is no skilled craftsmen, just odd job men and labourers. Spent more time sitting around than finishing jobs. In the end, we sold the house it was just a nightmare after they’d finished. Anyone reading this that has the. In, photo, film and document, because they are lazy, unskilled lairs. But I regret ever trusting these jokers….worst 12 months of our lives. But we’ll done to Direct Line for dropping them like a hot stone….and thank you Direct line for coming back 9 years later, and putting it all right, on the same original claim AHI’s work was that bad. We’ve moved to NZ, hence the location of this profile…
AHI stepped into the breech when other builders let us down mid-job. Steve contacted us on day of our inquiry, sent out a surveyor/ supplier the following day with Terry, Chris and Dan turning up on the day after Friday 7th Feb. Keen to get our roof sorted before “Storm Caira” came crashing in. The lads completed the outstanding job that day to a very high standard and noticed our front porch door was sticking. Going out to check they were ok and offer another cuppa found Chris tending the porch door with Terry helping... WOW What service. Roof sorted door fixed and all Storm Caira proof. WELL DONE AHI TEAM and all outside there usual area of work 120 miles round trip Many thanks and good luck for the future Richard
Steve and his team of experts come in to assess my home after having a bad experience and a lot of trouble with my insurance company, following a water damage claim that i had made, They put mine and my partners mind at ease and started work straight away and were always on hand for any concerns or questions regarding the work or layout of the house plan and how it should be and look. Matt was there to give a full list of work to be done and aid in picking of the kitchen styles along with tiles, flooring and fixings and made sure that the best of everything was installed. I would recommend AHI Group to anyone that needs any type of property work carried out insurance / private as a A* company to deal with and have a incredible range of expertise with in the workman that they employ. Every time i managed to the see the tradesmen on site they were always polite and helpful and gave options of how i wanted things to look even down to getting the color match right on the grout that they were using against the tile and trim no expense was spared or corner cut. thank you for everything AHI it couldn't have been any better
Had two flat rooves, one leaking the other not, both felt. Had both replaced with fibre glass. Both started leaking for different reasons within a few weeks. One because they hadn't properly sealed under the window sill above one roof, the other because they hadn't accounted for the increase in height, when using fibre glass instead of the old felt one and it left a gap along the fascia. They eventually fixed the issue with the fascia after two visits, but the other roof has intermitantly leaked and been repaired 3 times since then. Have now given up on trying to get the flashing issue fixed through AHI, they have decided they had nothing to do with it despite it being obvious they fitted it. Would never use again under any circumstance.

AHI are a firm in which you can put your trust,from Steve the jewel in the AHI crown along with all his workers,Gary,Martin,Chris,Wincy,Matt and Kath are all great,very kind,very helpful and kept me going through a very difficult time,I will never be able to praise all of them enough for their work.They work and pull together as a team and know their jobs well.Highly recommended firm.
