Called in today. Disappointed to find that ground staff have been around the grave areas with weed killer. No problem with keeping the cemetery tidy but indiscriminate spraying has also killed off bulbs & flowers we’d put in. A little more care would be appreciated please
Agecroft Cemetery is by far the scruffiest cemetery I know. The grass is cut and just left to die and round the headstones is just totally ignored so left to grow 3' high. I regularly go to Bury and Radcliffe cemetery and they put Agecroft to shame as they are beautifully tended and always look lovely. The management team should be ashamed of themselves!
Such a pity to rate this one star. Salford Council need to improve there performance. Every visit to the Cemetery is annoying. They don't cut the grass properly, and in particular round the area of the headstone. This is happening in all of there Cemeteries. I've noticed lots of families are now laying synthetic turf or fencing off the grave plot. Salford, yoi should be ashamed.
No service will ever be the same. Eileen you’re the best. lol anyone who reads the reviews unless you knew her still would question it.
Attended a lovely service of an old friend here yesterday. People who have never been should know that the crematorium is the small building in the north of the cemetery, not the church in the middle. I had to ask a groundskeeper.
