Coming recommended France and Son have been my pillar and backbone throughout this heartbreaking time. No waiting time and open to any changes, Tom and his team have been taking care of our family and our beloved husband and dad. We were able to come to the chapel as often as we needed to say goodbye in private, got beautifull flowers, coffin and cortege. Personal wishes as the sons wanting to carry their dads coffin into church were fully supported. It felt like a safe haven and lifted a lot of the pain and worries in these times. If ever you need someone to get buried in London and you want it done with dignity and care I recommend whole heartily them.
Writing from New South Wales, Australia, after returning from London. We chose A France to undertake our Mother's cremation on a personal recommendation. From our first conversation to the end of the process we felt well supported and advised. Every email was promptly answered and every phone query resolved. My unannounced visit to Lamb's Conduit Street to ask more detailed questions was welcomed. The practical organisation of the service by A France members, especially Jason and Tom, was exemplary. They worked with us, our priest and the crematorium to ensure the funeral was conducted smoothly and respectfully.
My family have used France for decades, from my great grandparents onwards. They are very well respected in my community and pay particular attention to religious rituals and customs. My experience has always been that they are caring, understanding, empathetic and very professional. Nothing is too much bother for them. My most recent dealing with France was a positive experience, under the circumstances. I would definitely recommend A. France & Son, a very well run family business.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for all your help, support and patience at one of the most difficult times in my life . I could not have done my mum's funeral without your help. The sensitivity you showed to my mum was impeccable, from my first telephone conversation with you to the handling of certain aspects of organising the funeral and to receiving my family on the eve of her burial was faultless. On behalf of my entire family I would like to say a huge thank you to you and your team. Please extend our heartfelt gratitude for making the day a little less painful by making sure things you were in charge of run smoothly,
I would like to thank A France & Son Funeral Directors for the care, compassion and attentiveness they showed to me and my family during this very difficult time. Losing my father in a rather sudden and traumatic manner was incredibly difficult, I cannot describe the support, respect and personal touch that was given by Jason and his team. They helped us in every way by arranging everything from the pre-service, the ability for the wider family to visit my father while he was laying in rest, the service itself in which they organised the priest, Father Michael from the Westminster Cathedral, who was such a lovely man and someone my father, a lapsed Catholic, would have been proud of, along with the flowers, music and everything. Finally, after the service, Jason returning my fathers ashes to my mother in the most tasteful of urns. A France & Son Funeral Directors and Jason, I would like to say thank you, so much, for the amazing respect you showed my father and my family in this most difficult of times.
Compassionate, effective and kind Tom and his team were so brilliant for our family. Complicated as it was with one family member dying in Island and shortly after his wife dying in the Falkland Islands. Tom was knowledgeable and so accommodating in getting the bodies back, sorting out the legal paperwork and luggage. In fact almost anything. All with a quiet sympathetic manner. Could not recommend this company and Tom highly enough.
“Under the unfortunate circumstances losing Alexi at such a young age was devastating enough and with so many funeral directors about we had to get this right so that we Alexi's loved ones could give Alexi the best possible send-off in the best possible way, whereby he would be proud. Every single box that we needed ticking ‘A Francis and Son’ Delivered they went above and beyond to make sure that Alexi gets looked after In their care, with extreme professionalism Compassion, Support, Understanding, And above all respect. Honestly, if there was a way that I could have given A France and Son more than five stars, I honestly would 100% and yes I highly recommend A France and Son If you are ever in unfortunate circuinstances like ourselves, it is not easy And it never is, but with the massive help of A France and Son, you can rest assured that the level of care, Professionalism respect support understanding is 10 out of 10 in the out-of-hours care and after our Final good, bye to our dear loved Alexi’s, I must mention Jason, the years of experience shown by this man were there for us to see he was effective thoughtful, and considerate, in his office, he made us feel so relaxed. He even made a smile even when we found it hard to do so and offered us a cup of tea or a harder drink and his Support was second to none. Under the date of the funeral, we were running late and he managed to keep everything on point. He was so relaxed. He made me feel as if I was on time. Weunder the date of the funeral, we were running late and he managed to keep everything on point. He was so relaxed. He made us feel as if we were on time, could not have wished for any better…”
We are immensely grateful for A France's exceptional care and support. From the moment we reached out to them, their kindness and professionalism stood out. Their compassion and expertise, coupled with Tom's speedy responses, made the whole process of organizing a funeral feel surprisingly simple. What truly touched our hearts was their experience and understanding when it came to children's funerals. We had lost our precious 7-month-old son, and they handled everything with such sensitivity and care. Incredibly, A France didn't charge us a penny for their services. We wholeheartedly recommend A France to anyone in need of their services. Their compassion and expertise are unmatched. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
