CALL 999 or NHS DIRECT, never DERBYSHIRE SOCIAL SERVICES MATLOCK Called social services over a week ago. With a safe guarding issue about a next door neighbour who lives on her own and has in my opinion and from previous experience developed dementure, unsteady on her feet and hallucinating. After about 35 minutes on the phone asking my name and address 3 times, then the same with the neighbour's details then asking again more than once why I thought it was a safe guarding issue. I ended up calling time on the call as there was nothing left for me to tell them. I received a call today wanting more information!! I told them their to late she has had a fall been on the floor over night undressed apparently. Found by another neighbour. IF SHE HAD NOT CALLED ROUND AND CALLED AN AMBULANCE THIS PERSON WOULD BE DEAD!! She is in hospital in and out of consciousness with a broken hip to poorly to operate on and was suffering from effects of hypothermia Matlock social services what is the purpose of your job? Shame on you!
Chesterfield and matlock social services absolutely ridiculous. Would give zero if i could. What do they actually employ for social workers these days?
