I have had my bed for a week now, it is brilliant. The company is so professional, couldn't do enough to help The salesman Mr John Howard was patient, so full of advice for both myself and my husband, just couldn't do enough to advise us. Because I was close to having treatment, he got in touch with the MD who very kindly signed of for my bed to be delivered in half the time. John still keeps in touch to make sure everything is going well. And Cindy who I have spoken to on the phone is a lovely, polite lady to deal with as well. Can not fault .anyone in that company. I am recommending them100percent.
The phone staff have always been very polite and helpful. The rep who came out was very pushy. I had been told on the phone that the beds started at £999. He asked me what I wanted and I said something like the bed I had which was a small double but a double. He looked at my bed and said the mattress had gone. He suggested the majestic bed and told me the price. I told him it was above my price limit. He juggled figures and suggested a loan. When I said I wanted to think about it he kept suggesting the loan and kept saying what did I want to do. I accepted the fact that the bed was overpriced and just hoped it would be perfect. It’s not. I have had it for a week tomorrow and I seem to roll over to one side. The mattress seems to really sink in when you sit on it to get into bed. The leaflet says it can take up to two weeks to get used to the mattress but I have just read in the reviews that I only have two weeks to complain.I will be ringing them tomorrow. As there are no prices on the website I felt like he was just making up a figure as he went along. Be careful of company’s like this. Only just had my bed and they’ve emailed me to say they now have a sale on. Wish I’d rang up and cancelled the order.
Bought our Adjustomatic bed in 2017 for my disabled husband who had a sever stroke. The bed is now out of warranty, The hand set is very flimsy plastic and works intermittently and the catch on the power cable has just fallen off! I asked if there was a replacement- cable £8.00 - reasonable, handset £141.00 - not at all reasonable! The hand set itself can be constructed for under £10. I asked if I could order one but was told not without an engineer’s visit at £149.00. So £290 for a £10 handset!! Plus £8.00 for a new cable. The cable does not require an engineer’s visit as it simply plugs in under the bed which rises up and you can reach the box easily to plug it in. There is a £12.97 monthly plan which does cover costs of engineer and parts, not too much you may say but it’s the fact that a cheap part is being over charged for and your in a catch 22 situation. We are on a fixed income and do not want more monthly out goings if at all possible! The bed itself works fine although the gel mattress is not to my liking but suits my husband although he finds it hard to turn in bed due to his severe stroke as the gel holds you in place! The bed is great for rising allowing him to get out of bed without major effort as he is paralysed down one side. The grab rail is also a great feature.Service: Delivery
