Lovely vineyard located on the Isle of Wight. The wine was very good. The views are incredible. This would be a great place to visit when they have live music on. Chickens roaming around outside was a bonus!
Really lovely day out, a must see on the Isle of Wight. We did the audio tour and then the tasting which was a really good price. Audio tour was the perfect length and informative. There wasn't too much walking which was ideal as we had a baby in the group. The wine tasting was really good, a bit more on the informal side but it worked really well and gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The food platters served are really lovely too. We sat outside and had a light bite while listening to the live music which was a great way to wrap up the visit.
A lovely looking vineyard and outdoor bar seating area. A great shop too - the lovely lady who explained to us about their wine making process was kind enough to let us taste a few things before we bought them! Perfect place if you like your vino!
Fun place to visit for all ages. The kids enjoyed seeing the goats and the cute free roaming chickens, the adults appreciated the humorous presentation and free tasting of hot salsa and berry jam as well as several samples of wine and spicy liquor. I did not like any whites, either too dry or sweet for me, my daughter loved the full body red, they were out of the blue sparkling wine. Lovely shop, cosy wine tasting area. Good size vineyard right by a large parking lot.
We rode down to here on our bikes via the red squirrel trail. I went to purchase the Blue Brut, and it looks so cool. Not tried it yet. It's a gift for my daughter's wedding. The place is so lovely, and we had a quick pint while we were there, lovely grounds, plenty of seating. They don't take cash, so make sure you have your card.
Actually the best wine testing experience ever! Very impressed with their knowledge. Very generous with every glass! Absolutely the best experience in the island. Stunning views from the viniard. Amazing selection of wines. Thank you for such a fantastic day!
We had a wonderful afternoon with live music, lovely wine and friendly staff. The wine tasting tour was incredible value and Brian who ran our session was informative and welcoming- would highly recommend!
You absolutely MUST visit Adgestone vineyard if you’re visiting the IOW. Excellent afternoon. The tour was super insightful learning about both the wine on site and historical; the tasting was very relaxed and enjoyable; food for lunch was great; views were absolutely spectacular. We have just had a lovely afternoon learning and testing all about English wines. The food that was served was well worth staying around for. Great place to visit! Strolling around the vineyard at our leisure, very informative audio. Only issue was the way my husband was told not politely asked to put his t-shirt on, maybe the staff members could think about how he speaks to members of the public.
