I recently bought a Volvo XC 60 in super condition from ADG. Their service was excellent. David was very professional, open and honest, no pushy tactics. The team prepared the car to showroom condition. After 3 months I did experience a small problem and a needed to make a warranty claim. The warranty product sold with the car was very easy to use enabling my local Volvo dealer to fix at no cost to me. I have bought lots of cars over the years and for me ADG are one of the best car retailers I have ever used. I would definitely recommend them, thanks ADG.
Had a fantastic experience buying my V40 from ADG a few months back. They put zero pressure on me for a sale and unlike other garages, never tried to shove a warranty or any extras on me that I didn't want, and I received friendly, personal service from David before and during the sale his business partner Alistair is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Shortly after purchase, I became aware of a small fault with the vehicle - upon notifying ADG, they apologised profusely and took the initiative themselves to resolve the issue to our mutual satisfaction. Car has been completely faultless since, and the post-purchase experience has only done wonders to solidify in my mind that this is one of the last few genuine dealerships run by honest car enthusiasts in the country. Their selection of cars is fantastic too! No question about it, would absolutely come back again. Appreciate everything!
Me and my partner Hamid brought a car from this company last October which was the land rover discovery sport. David was very helpful in our quest to purchase a car. There was nothing too much trouble for him and was very professional. The car was very well presented prior pick up, would definitely use this company again for our next car. I had a great experience of ADG. They got back to me straight away and let me view the car on a Sunday. Really friendly service and so accommodating arranging delivery of the car for a small charge. I was in need of a car to pick up that day, i phoned ahead as i was driving around 150 miles. They were polite and very helpful. They got the car ready for me despite it not being ready for sale that day. They were very accurate with the description and honest with the sale. unfortunately i did have a problem with my fuel pump a few weeks later which was not covered in the warranty. They however paid half towards a new pump as a gesture of goodwill. I have been very impressed by the service and quality at this garage. I would highly recommend.
Bought a used Volvo XC90 from these guys in February, nice friendly staff, car looked great, wouldn’t move on the price so paid the full listed price of £7,950. Within a couple of weeks I had a few age related issues which wasn’t the end of the world but £200 here and £200 there soon add up. Within a few months the engine starts loosing power. Took the car to a local Volvo specialist, spent £100 for them to take a look over it for me, only to find out that the car needs over £2K spent on it to fix! This happened just after the 3 months warranty so I had no choice but to get it fixed myself. I decided that I would sell the car as it’s clearly just a money pit! Tried to list it on auto trader only to find out that it was registered as CAT D!! This is something that a dealer must legally tell a potential buyer. I called them to have a chat about what could be done about the situation as I was unaware that it was CAT D. Unable to speak with Alistair, the friendly chap who sold me the car, I spoke with his rude business partner who literally told me to “jog on”. I wasn’t being rude or disrespectful in anyway, I’m not trying to get something for nothing. Just a solution to the problem. He wasn’t able to offer me anything back for the car unless as a part exchange. He said it was great value at the time! So basically in under a year I’m left with an old banger that has now cost me £10K with the market value of 4K and that’s without taking into account that it’s CAT D so market value is probably much less than that. Absolutely no help from ADG, just told me to “jog on”. They’ve been dishonest, disrespectful and rude and I would suggest that anyone thinking of dealing with these con artists should go elsewhere!!
Excellent sums it up nicely….. David was nothing but professional and the car exactly as described. They certainly know about cars here so I’d be very happy to recommend to anyone thinking of buying from them. Love to support small businesses that have that special edge. Fantastic car buying experience from start to finish..They were friendly, professional and certainly not pushy. My Jaguar XF was excellently presented. A couple of minor cosmetics I pointed out at first viewing were put right without question and the work carried out to a very high standard. I have no hesitation in fully recommending ADG Sevenoaks to anyone. They go that little bit extra to make the experience a pleasure. Thank you
