Awesome local pub. Friendly welcome and far-better-than-average selection of whisky. Great back story too around Will Adams, who’s tale is told via a pub-long freeze.

Tuesday 28th February 2023 This Gillingham great real ale pub is a must to visit when coming to Gillingham Great real ales looked after by landlord Great local following and also somewhere  you feel happy amongst to have real ale before going to watch our team the mighty Bradford City play at Gillingham football club

Very nice cider house, serving Old Rosie and various Lilly's offerings. Welcoming old-fashioned decor and no muzac. I'll be back next time I pass through Gillingham.

A truly excellent real ale house steeped in local history. A warm welcome awaits from a friendly and knowledgeable landlord. Perfect for traveling away fans following their team to Gillingham. Try the Jukebox too - the best in Kent?! Certainly worth a visit throughout the year. An absolute must.

The best pub in Gillingham for beer and conversation by a clear mile!  I have been drinking in Gillingham for years yet I am unable to name one pub that puts as much effort into selecting a variety of real good quality ales as this pub! Every time I visit their is a new real ale to try and their is also a blackboard with new ales coming up!  Both the landlord and landlady are friendly and it's nice to sit down and hear a conversation or two about beer! And learn something in the process This pub is a breath of fresh air in a sea of generic pubs...  Great jukebox , pooltable , darts board and most of all IMO great beer :

Absolutely brilliant pub. Great beer, lovely people, great atmosphere from just chilling and chatting to brilliant singing along with the jukebox. Highly recommend this pub to anyone.
