Working within the Learning Disability Service for the Council, I have witnessed a lot of very fine practice, but none more so than via the ARC in Newton Stewart. For some person centred is a concept, for the ARC team it is a passion and a commitment to deliver the best for the folks they serve. The ARC though is not simply about the management and staff or indeed the folks that receive a service, but also their families, other agencies and the wider community. If you get that combination right you are onto a winner - which is certainly the case with Newton Stewart.

Fantastic facilities for people of all needs. Very kind staff who will focus on your individual requirements in a caring and understanding way, with lots to offer and a highly skilled team to deliver it. I went along for a wee taster session in the recording studio, and had an amazing time, finishing with a cuppa before I set out for home. Delighted with my visit and can't wait to book a session to learn all about music production using digital technology, and adding to my musical knowledge by combining it with my skill as a musician.
