Grandchildren loved it. Ages - 8, 6, 4 and 2. Lots of children but not overcrowded. Nice range of physical activities and a drumming activity! Clean toilets available. And a little gift shop.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Went to action stations to play laser tag with a few friends and had a blast! We were running a bit late and they were very accommodating, changing our timeslots for us without any issues. We were the only ones booked onto our timeslots which was perfect! Please be aware, if you're over 30 you may feel a bit knackered after!
Looks great with all the motorboats flying around in the lake at the front. Plenty to do inside.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
I have just taken my 2 grandchildren to Action Stations today, having called them with no answer on their phone number! So called the main dockyard. The website says it’s Closed today ! It may say opens on Hampshire school holidays but having seen “Closed” I suspect you may have lost a few visitors. Inside it was very disappointing. Signage poor. Very dark. Grubby. Staff that we did see just stood there no interaction or suggested thoughts of the various items available to the children. Come on it could be So much better with a positive vibe and be much more engaging. We really enjoy the dockyard but Action Stations lets it down big time. What a great shame!
Nothing like the Action Stations of old. It's good for younger children but my two early teenage children wanted to move on quite quickly. I believe that a new Royal Marine Commando experience will be opening later in 2024.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
This is a great place to take the kids, there's so many fun things for them to do, there's mini assault courses, simulators and a bit of dress up too, all that and there's a laser quest, a great way to get those little ones running about and all tuckered out.
Excellent activities for kids to get their hands on and expel the energies built up while accompanying their parents walking 'round old boats in the historic brickyards. Brilliantly conceived with a good range of activities, including a really good cinema.
Amazed at how much you've charged us for a warehouse with loads of stuff that's not in service. If you want to feel like you've been mugged head on down to Action Stations.
Great place for kids to try out climbing assault course etc. Nowhere to get a coffee and toilets pretty grim. Staff helpful.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Not visited Action Stations for a while and was quite disappointed visiting again. Everything the kids loved previously had gone Bridge on an RN Warship, Helicopter simulation. What's left didn't seem very 'Action Stations' as we knew it. It's basically a laser tag which you have to pay more for understandable but not well advertised and a climbing wall. The rest was wonderful for toddlers and children up to about 9 if you're lucky. For a place that used to inspire it doesn't really do that now. It's no different from nipping to the climbing wall at Mountbatten Centre and if you're looking for a challenge or your child is then Ninja Warrior at Southampton would be a much better choice.
