The most knowledgeable and professional group of locksmiths I’ve hired in 15 years of owning rental properties. From antique locks to basic rekeys, they arrive with the right tools and supplies and leave the lock sets working better than before.
Great company with great locksmiths. We just moved into a new house and had them replace 3 doors, 4 locks in total. Very friendly and nice smith who really knew what he was doing. He even took the time to reposition the lock in the door so that it closes and locks better. We had to push hard on the door before to get it locked, but now it is just close and turn, very nice. The smith really took pride in his work and the price was quite fair in my opinion. I would highly recommend them and I will be calling them if I ever need a locksmith again!
Not a happy consumer at all, I ordered 3 keys and got charged for 4 had to go back, I don't live in Pittsburgh and when I returned home not one of those keys work. Now I've to take a ride back into Pittsburgh & get my money back once again They should be paying for my gas and time wasted
I went inside the store to see if they could make another key for a lock that I use for my firearm. It's a very small key. The guy who helped me was unfriendly and VERY dismissive. Turns out he couldn't make the key because my lock supports keys that are "backwards", whatever that meant. He didn't care to explain any further either. Just walked off without any further commentary.
I use them every time I need keys cut, they are always right the first time. I play with a lot of classic cars and always need an extra keys and I've never had an issue. They also rekeyed my locks to my garage when I first bought my house since I didn't get keys to the garage. This is your one stop for anything lock related. I drive across town to go there because I know it will always be done correctly!!!
Fantastic service! I brought in a 110 year old lock to be re-keyed. I got there a little before closing time but Larry stayed a little longer and took the time to get it done for me! I will be back for any other lock needs. Thank you so much!
I love Ace lock, we've used them for the last 20 years. They treat you as their most important customer whether you're having them come to your house to change out locks, or just simply getting some new keys made. Excellent customer service and extremely knowledgeable staff make Ace lock one of Pittsburgh's best companies.
The Ace Lock employee could not find my street address in his GPS, so he showed up about one hour late. He was very friendly with his conversation. He changed five locks in my doors and gave me four sets of keys. One of the locks was accidentally installed with the knob side on the outside and the key side on the inside, but the locksmith corrected it. All of the keys and locks work well. The total cost was $168.
This is by far the best locksmith around. Every key they have made for me works better than the original. Including a key set made from a key code on an old motorcycle. That would be enough, but The customer service they provide is beyond what any reasonable person would expect.
These guys are the best. I went in to get a duplicate key made for my 1981 XV920. This is not a very common motorcycle, and the key didn't exist in any database they had on hand. They came out and tested some blanks in my ignition, and found a Kawasaki that fit. Then they custom cut it to match my Yamaha ignition. After all this, I went to pay and they told me "don't worry about it, it's on us". Thanks Ace! Their employees are extremely nice and their service is top notch.
