Just had x4 18” wheels refurbed for my 2004 986 Boxster S 550 Spyder anniversary edition. This car has unique 2-tone wheels GT silver and Seal grey, which I wanted to maintain on the car.nnACE have done an incredible job in refurbishing the wheels material condition and also colour matching the Porsche OE colours AND achieving a brilliantly clean separation between the 2 colours on a design of wheel not best made for 2-colours ie no real clear edges / joins for the colour change.nnThey also colour matched my supplied brand new centre caps to ensure there was no colour difference and fitted x2 brand new MPS2 N3 tyres that I’d supplied for the 2 front wheels.nnComms from the front of house team was excellent @Tracy and @Nicola and all the guys I spoke with were super helpful, courteous, professional and respectful of me and my property.nnI’m so happy with the work that they now currently have my front bumper / nose cone to refresh.nnAnd next winter they’ll get the whole car for a bonnet, front wings and lower sills refresh I anticipate nnEDIT:nncan’t seem to write a 2nd review so just adding to this one now my repainted bumper and the refurbed wheels are back on the car.nnBumper came back from Ace Finish looking immaculate I had ‘undressed’ it of all trims before taking it to Ace so they had a totally ‘bare’ bumper to work on.nnThey had a wing mirror that I removed off the car to use for a colour match and that came back without issue too and to my eye the colour match is perfect.nnGreat service, great comms, fair pricing for a very good quality job.nnShall definitely return for any future work I’ve already found some inner-rear wheel-arch rust that’s going to need dealing with soon…..nn100% recommended.
It's in the name! Excellent quality work.nnBe explicit about wheel finish when selecting a colour!nnThe staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I booked in over the phone and secured an appointment. A day or two later, I went in to look at the colours and finishes available. At that time, I spoke to team members about a satin finish showing an example image on my phone and was advised to look through their supplier's catalogue for colours. After selecting a colour, I called to inform about my selection - no problem at all. But what I didnt reiterate at that time was the desired finish. Only the colour was noted down and without explicitly mentioning either a satin or matte finish, a gloss finish was applied.nnThe team handled this really well. Mistakes happen, it's how they're dealt with that's important... The wheels were refinished and I had their loaner car for another few days, all at no additional cost.nnI couldn't be happier with the result and that's all thanks to Alan I think, sorry, it was a while back and the team. They clearly place a lot of value in customer satisfaction - very much appreciated, I'm actually keen to bring them more of my business
Ace Finish are a 1st class business….nI’ve just had four 21” diamond cut wheels restored to a factory finish. The wheels are superb! Apart from the diamond cut finish they also powder coat as opposed to “wet spraying” so you will get a finish that will last with regular wheel cleaning. I also had the callipers and wheel hubs painted in a colour of my choice. My standards are high and I am hard to please, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to others. I will use them again!
After absolutely destroying a pair of wheels on my E39 after smacking a pothole, I reached out to Ace Finish after being recommended by a neighbour. They managed to repair and straighten out the wheels to a near perfect condition. Saved me $$$ when compared to replacing the wheels. Will look to return for a refurb soon! Recommend!
I had 2 alloys lightly curbed on my Mercedes C-class. ACE did a beautiful job on my diamond cut alloys, leaving both looking as new. I also used them to respray the steel wheels on my Jimny from gloss black to matte bronze, also a flawless job. HIGHLY recommend them.
