I came here with friends and it was the most wholesome afternoon with such great ambiance Maya was absolutely lovely and patient with us!
The shop and the owner are nice and you can find some stuff but their items seem to be made of nickel and this is not made clear anywhere at least not that i saw. I had a quite severe allergic reaction after wearing a necklace for only a few hours the pictures are of the reaction after cooling down and a few days of applying hydrocortisone. If this isn’t an issue for you then it’s a good shop but if you have allergies I would avoid.nnAlso similar to some of the reviews below… I think if you have social anxiety luckily i don’t you might want to avoid. Nothing is priced and you will have to ask for the prices of everything. It’s quite stressful and an added pressure, definitely deterred me from buying more. The prices are also quite a bit more than I expected and seem to be made at random.
Got to make my own bracelet with a friend here, wonderful selection of charms, and they teach you how to make the bracelet! You can also make a necklace or buy them already made there's a great selection of that as well. Very fun, wonderful experience I recommend to anyone!
I absolutely love this place. There's no where better to buy vintage costume jewellery. The prices are very affordable and the quality of the jewellery is fantastic. Set aside a couple of hours to visit both locations and search through the huge amount of stock and you'll be sure to find something amazing and unique. The staff are absolutely lovely and make you feel welcome, and the atmosphere is relaxed even when it's busy. I've found dozens of beautiful pieces across my several trips here, so revisiting every couple of months to see what's new is a must. Everything I've purchased has held up wonderfully to constant wear. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves vintage jewellery or is looking for something unique.
I saw about this shop on TikTok and since I was in London I thought I would check it out, they claimed that their stuff was 14krt gold coated. I bought a necklace and a bracelet and a charm. After wearing it for a day I got a severe allergic reaction to the necklace and charm, just to be clear I don’t have any allergies, but after wearing the necklace with the charm a really red, bumpy and itchy rash appeared on my neck. And after researching about it, it shows that it happens when it is nickel. I don’t have sensitive skin so it wasn’t expected but I think they charge too much for cheap jewellery.
