I went to an open day at Acadia Care Home and everyone had a lovely afternoon.  We enjoyed afternoon tea and entertainment singing and dancing it was great fun. A member of staff even came in on her day off to help out what dedication. It was a lovely atmosphere great place and wonderful caring staff.

Mum had over 4 fun packed years at Acacia, loving every minute. The carers live up to the name - they really care. Fabulous place.

I was worried my nanna wouldn't settle in a home & would  feel lonely when my granpa passed away,   how very wrong I was , on my weekly visits nanna was always smiling,  talking of her new friends , all the activities they had done , the home is spotless & the staff are like one big family!  I would highly recommend and want to thank you for taking such good care of my nanna x

Acacia lodge is an amazing home to work, the staff are caring, loyal and have dedication to each and every resident they care for.  The home is clean and smell great .Joanna is an amazing manager who always has time for her team.

If anyone is looking for a residential care home for their loved ones, Acacia Lodge is the perfect place to be.  My father in law has now been at Acacia Lodge for almost three years and has made many new friends.  The facilities Acacia provides for their residents, wether it be the excellent first class care given by Joanna, Sue and the team, the cleanliness of the ensuite bedrooms and lounge areas, the food quality and choice, the activities programme and laundry service is second to none.  The loving care and home from home safe environment given and provided to my father in law from everyone at Acacia has made and continues to make his stay at Acacia Lodge a very, very happy one. I was extremely pleased with the quality of care received and the professionalism of the management & staff , the home is well kept , with a very welcoming & friendly atmosphere .

Acacia Lodge is a fabulous Care Home which is led by a very passionate Manager, Joanna Roberts. Her enthusiasm and drive rubs off onto her team and she leads by example.  The Home rightly deserves the Outstanding award which was given by CQC.  Well done to you all!

I'm writing this review for my mum Faith Smith.  Her great auntie my great great auntie turned 99 this week and has lived here since Oct.  All the staff are lovely and welcoming but my mum wanted to mention Denise for helping organise a lovely celebratory afternoon for Auntie Thelmas birthday.  Darcy for being lovely with all the residents.  Joanne for all her help always.  Today Auntie Thelma took ill and Spencer was a star he really kept our spirits up when we were worried and was so lovely and compassionate with Auntie Thelma.  And Michelle and Rezina who are just superstars and make us feel so welcome always.  Keep up the good work Acadia I'm sure I've missed great staff ... I'll include you on my next review!! Lovely home. Only downside was Lynn"s attitude, she was more interested in money than patient welfare. Avoided and never returned our calls which wasted valuable time.
