There was a significant leak of engine coolant on my car which meant it couldnt be driven for more than a few minutes. I called on a Monday morning dropped it off about 5 minutes later. Andy ordered the parts that day and fixed it the following day so I could collect it on Tuesady evening. He offered me a courtesy car and picked me up once the car was finished, so I didnt need to organise getting to him. Top class service, great communication and less money than I expected to pay. A local business offereing a cracking trustworthy service. Thanks Andy top man!
After breaking down half way between London and my Airbnb in Chagford and being towed the rest of the way by the AA, I was panicking that I wouldn't be able to get my untrusty steed, Bertie, fixed in time to depart or get out and about. My hosts hooked me up with Andy and he was super helpful and incredibly quick; having arrived late on Friday night, he brought a loan car on Sunday night, took Bertie away with him, and she was ready to collect fully fixed up with a new harmonic balancer by lunchtime on the Monday despite what I'm sure was a busy week before the August bank holiday. Friendly, accommodating, speedy - if I ever move back to Devon, I'll certainly make Andy my go-to mechanic!
We had an issue with our car mid holiday and so we stopped in here. The couple who worked there were so friendly, extremely knowledgeable and gave us really helpful advice so that we could continue our holiday. They were very open and transparent about his schedule and the cost of the parts etc. Would definitely recommend!
Car had shock absorber shear off due to pothole while on holiday, so needed urgent fixing. Called in here, sorted same day - great value and excellent service from start to finish. Completely recommend.
