Lovely see front, great little shops around the area, food and drink outlets pop up everywhere. In the summer it’s beautiful, off season is a lot quieter obviously but still lovely. A great day or weekend away!
This is Aberystwyth Promenade in Wales. Stretching from the harbour and South Beach up to North Beach it is a good healthy stroll in the sea air. The promenade looks quite impressive at night too.
Lovely promenade in Aberystwyth. The beach is shingle, there are plenty of cafes & pubs close by, and the pier is home to stunning murmurations between December & February, when the sky goes dark as Starlings gather in their thousands, before swooping underneath the pier for the night - a wonderful sight, as many people bring cameras to record it all. Aberystwyth is a little quiet, but a lovely town with a laid back vibe, with most major stores & shops. Well worth a visit
Pretty but not much to do and shops are poor. small play ground in Castle ruins, toilets either end of prom but not always open, dogs not allowed on beach all year round and plenty of picnic area on beach just remember to take your rubbish home with you.
If you're close to Aberystwyth this time of year go see the murmuration's - nature at it's best! And free to see too
Travelled down with family for a visit while staying just outside Newquay. Seafront was lovely to walk down with the odd cafe and ice -cream stall. Town centre had plenty of shops pubs and eateries.
Lovely walk along the beach and promenade. Although holiday time not too busy. Beautiful college building and old castle remains to viewl
Sadly a little grubby & run down. Beach is shingle. The cliff railway up Constitutional Hill was great. Amazing views
Lovely Prom to walk along and take in the beautiful views. Start at the harbour and finish by the Queens where you can pop into the Glengower for a drink and snack.
A lovely long promenade with excellent views across the water to the Llyn peninsula . Ideal for walking jogging or simply having a relaxing coffee and watching the world go by.
