Abergavenny market is a great place to go too, especially on a Tuesday or Saturday. Full of interesting stalls to see. The jewellery stalls are lovely to visit. Why not get a present for someone special.
Love it.... lots of different types of food.... olives, nuts, cheese, hand crafting vodka, beers, fast food stores... they were some stages with music, kids entertainment and local history. A really nice day out for the whole family
Brilliant market. Cheap birthday and Christmas cards. Lovely selection of fruit, cheeses, toys, meat, always a bargain to be had.
Spent a few hours in the Tuesday market, which was refreshingly relaxing despite Covid restrictions. We left feeling so much better a great way to shop and support local businesses.
Small market but well-organised to deal with our new COVID world. Varied stalls and good ambience especially liking the giant models of bees at suspended from the high roof. Worth a visit.
Best place and you'll find friendly stall holders, freshly grilled Welsh cakes and a butcher who sells huge free range eggs. Got good cruelty free/plastic free toiletries from a lady who's business was called Tibetan Dawn. Something for everyone.
Great little cafe within this market, full of interesting memorabilia, like salt/pepper shakers! Even more commendable were the hard working staff, producing scrumptious reasonably priced meals. Their attention to safe hygiene at this time was also exemplary. Well done!
A little bit quiet for a Christmas..... but the virus has decimated Christmas hope for a better one next year
Ok for socially distancing as one way. The stalls are very varied. The new temporary access is a little weird after many years of using the market as it is at the rear. The miniature vehicle stall is always a big hit with my partner.
