As I'm a direct decendendant and named john Ross and my father also being john Ross I cant say a bad word hoping to come for a visit one day from australia
A lovely museum, very invested, well arranged and gave us a great experience for almost two hours. Several floors, many themes, pictures, presentations, many accessories related to the sea theme in the area, and the oil field in particular. Includes tools and videos related to the oil rigs.
Interesting contents and nice visit! Thanks. Spent a nice day with family and friends. I'll bring my cusin with children next time!
Was such an interesting place to visit. Loved Lear king about the development of the Harbour and the life on the rigs. The wee cafe was lovely, albeit slow to serve I found. But that could easily have been technology causing that.
Great place with interesting information about the city relationship with the sea. And displays on the North sea oil and gas industry. Plus a spectacular view of the harbour and its mighty tugs.
I cant wait until lockdown is over so I can go back here.
Great place for the family, lots to see and do. The oil rig in the middle is just amazing. Lots of history, gadgets, technology, and good informative place. Kids will enjoy it. It has a cafe with toilets. On arrival you are directed to enterance by staff. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs as this is on multiple floors.
A fascinating museum with plenty to learn about. Brilliant hands-on exhibitions for kids and adults. Once you're on the top floor you're treated to a great view of the ships in the dock. A great afternoon out, and it's free too!
