I was there early, my early flight was cancelled and was on the edge of going home but this breakfast kept me through dark times. Food here was fantastic
This is now my preferred parking location when flying from Aberdeen, yes there are cheaper options, but I am happy to pay for the convenience of being able to walk across the road to my car, instead of a longer trek, or waiting for a bus.nnLike being able to book / pay online and that there cameras read your number plate on entry / exit making it totally contactless.nnWas there this week, the first time in about six months and the layout had me baffled a bit, but got there and it appears to be more logical now.nnUpdate December 2024, had parked, and checked in for my flight, before being advised my flight, and ongoing connections had been cancelled due to Storm Darragh. Left the airport within an hour of checking in, wrote to the parking provider, and issued a full refund. Exceptional customer service, this is one of the many reasons Aberdeen Airport Short Stay Car Park, is my first and only choice.nnOne very happy customer.
The direction signs to guide you to the car park aren't very clear so you need to be very careful. The entrance pedestal doesn't provide you with a ticket identifying your arrival time because your registration is used. Spaces in the parking area aren't very wide so you have to be careful when opening the car door, cars on either side of you aren't always so careful. For what you pay it should be much better! The payment machine is quite confusing, the screen to input your registration number isn't visible until you press the button. Some picture guidance would be very helpful.
The very worst customer service. Not rude but they do not give a hoot. I would recommend you park anywhere but here.nPaid in full online when booking and even paid the extra to cover if my return flight was delayed.nnOut and back in the same day.nnAt exit gate asked to pay another £36 having already paid nearly £40 for the day’s parking.nnWhen I asked on the intercom if they could rectify I was asked for my confirmation number which unfortunately I did not have with me.nnI then provided my name, address, email address and car registration. Only to be met with the response “If you don’t have your number you will have to pay!”nnI then had to reverse against the flow of traffic to re-park and pay another £36.
Absolutley terrible customer service which goes in hand with the monopolisitic rip off culture that surrounds airport parking/drop off fees. Call centre says open 9am-6pm. Rang at 1745 & was closed. Massive delays on phone on hold to speak to someone, then line hangs up. Just terrible. Cant even go to the airport to ask a question in person which would be easier as u cant park there without incurring massive charges. Just lamentable. Would recommend using another airport but I think they know there isnt a decent one within 2 hours of Aberdeen so they dont care. Query was realted to picking up a disabled relative who was on a late flight and last time she flew in nobody was at Customer Service office when she landed. We rang the number suggested in the car park and nobody answered. So we had to pay. Was trying to ensure this wouldnt happen again but looks like it is going to happen again. Just rampant greed.
