Building itself is brilliant but the parking costs are just too much. Went to pick up a friend today and unfortunately the plane was 40 minutes late. Luggage took a while to come through and by the time we got to the car parking area to pay, it cost me £20 for 1 hour and 17 minutes!
It's a great airport to fly into and out of. The staff were all friendly and helpful and it'd recommend this airport.
It works well, no trouble dropping off but it is a right swizz to charge.nnI've never been to an airport anywhere in the world where people would rather march a mile up hill with all their luggage and kids in tow.nnI get the commercial aspect but £5 for 10 mins, then £1 a minute, coupled with normal airport time-wasting in passport control and baggage reclaim, soon mounts up.
I have to say the visiting Airports around the world Aberdeen Airport is not even in the running. The toilets at Harry Reid International in Las Vegas comes top the Restrooms there are exceptionally clean, well done to the Cleaning Staff for having great pride in their work keeping this Airport Beautiful.
Dropping off or picking up fees is beyond unnaceptabke but they can get away with it so they do, flight bags are usually held back so everyone has to stay and extra 15 minutes putting your fee close to £20, avoid at all costs of f you can.
