This Post Office is very well set and very professional. Staff are keen to help and advise you on anything that you require. I've had many positive experiences visiting this store, and I've sent many letters and parcels there with ease. Wonderful post office that is helpful and runs efficiently.
Not good. On royal mail website it's saying if your item brand new in the package you can send it . The woman working there didn't send it . Not good
Utterly useless here. When you get here there's always massive queues, not enough staff and the ones that are there just aren't very efficient. Normally I expect to wait at least 20 minutes to be served. They offer several services and I'm usually stuck being people who want money out, then some of it in coins, then some stamps, then some lottery tickets. I'm a full time and established business owner. My business sends off many thousands of parcels a year. When it comes to royal mail, we weigh up parcels and pre pay labels. Royal Mail themselves have told us as it's paid for in advance, all post office staff need to do is scan the parcel and put it into a collection bag. Other post offices know this and do it. Here though, the guy working there will make me put every single parcel on the scales, get a weight, match it up to what's on the parcel and even start questioning the size of parcels "that doesn't look like it's a small parcel". It makes quite a quick process turn into a much longer process plus having to queue for 20+ minutes before and thus causing more of a queue for others. He's quite rude as well. If we ever were to make a mistake and the parcel is oversized/overweight, it will be flagged up when in the network and it's our customers who would be billed the excess it's never happened before. Yet he's always so argumentative never grasping that as it's pre-paid, it's us who are responsible a different story if a label was purchased in store and they weight it wrong and undercharge, going as far as shaking his head, smirking and telling me I'm wrong. Unfortunately he's trained the staff to all do the same thing with weighing pre-paid parcels turning a fast process which they simply take a cut of the postage I already paid into a much longer process. I dread going there because of this and will avoid doing so other than on the few rare occasions that I have no choice. Had it not been like this, we'd be sending many of our 1000's of parcels a year via this post office.
It is a friendly post office, staff very nice and efficient, I need to visit this shop every week, never disappointed me. Long queue sometimes but never mind as it is worthy to wait. Happy service here.
Several times I've visited this branch this year, each and every time I'm stuck in a queue that wouldn't be there if they had decent staff levels. The tills are often staffed by 1 or 2 people leaving some positions empty meaning people have to wait excessively long times just to get served. [Edit] thought I'd edit this review a little, tried visiting this place today to post some items. It's not my local post office but it is definitely the main one for Aberdare. I chose to use it as I was in Aberdare town, turns out I couldn't! The place closes for lunch for a whole hour, it makes little sense to me to close services like this for lunch and also makes me realise why Post Offices are closing left right and center. Royal Mail and the Post Office really need to address the issues of accessibility as there are so many more ways to access services provided by them these days and closing during times people expect them to be open simply provides people with less of a reason to go there.
Worst post office I have ever been to most of the staff are extremely slow and have ques out the door! I waited in a she for 35 minutes one time. No movement in them at all the only person wich is fast and nice is the one wich works in the bath place. Trust me if u can avoid going. Go somewhere else!
A good place for stamps, to get your money, pay your car tax and with everything else
Very good service Staff are very nice too
You have to be strategic about the time you go, but it's saved my proverbial many a time.
Excellent service, covid safe, thank you
